The outspoken MP left the country two days after President Uhuru Kenyatta returned from the US where he met with President Donald Trump and American investors.

On Friday, Kuria paid a courtesy call on Dr Stephen Cavanaugh, who is the Dean and Professor at the College of Nursing at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst ahead of the official partnership signing between the University and the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) next week.

"Through this partnership, our two KMTC campuses in Mutunguru and Gatundu town will start offering nursing courses accredited by the University of Massachusetts at Amherst thus opening up opportunities for thousands of our graduands," the MP said.

His visit could signify his effort in ensuring Uhuru succeeds in the implementation of Jubilee's Big Four agenda which involves rolling out healthcare services throughout the country to ensure Kenyans have adequate access to their health demands.

The initiative also entails training of enough health service providers across the country who will attend to the more than 45 million Kenyans.

President Uhuru Kenyatta is optimistic that with adequate funding his Big Four agenda initiative will succeed as he winds up his last term in office.
