Tanzanian star singer Naseeb Abdul Juma better known as Diamond Platnumz has come out to reveal some of the reasons why he is among the most successful musicians in Africa.
Speaking during an interview with Dizzim Online, Diamond began by appreciating God for making his songs to be loved by his fans and consequently getting to perform at a lot of shows across the world.
He pointed out that his success in music is not from fame or being clever as an artist but because of the positive reception that his songs enjoy.
He went ahead to explain that his good relationship with people around him has contributed a lot in his success. According to Diamond who is also the founder of WCB record label, he does not look down on anyone that he interacts with especially promoters.
"First I get a lot of shows because God has blessed me and I release hit songs. Every song I release is received positively by people. I can't say that its because I am an artist and I a lot, but it is because people love me and whatever small I produce is received well. Besides that, I relate well to people. You know when I meet promoters I don't look down on them. I live with them like they are my family, when I go for a show I don't sag my trouser but instead, I perform."

Diamond enjoys a huge following in Kenya. The relationship between Diamond and his Kenyan fans grew stronger after he got engaged to Kenyan singer cum radio presenter Tanasha Donna. Diamond has worked with various Kenyan artistes including Akothee.
