Leopards could have taken the lead on the seventh minute when former Thika United star Said Tsuuma delivered a marvelous pass to Brian Marita, but the unlucky Marita saw his shot get few inches away from the net post.

One minute to the break Marita swung in a super cross from on-form defender Isaac Kipyegon, before dribbling past the Milers' defense before converting the ball into the back of the net.

AFC head coach Marko Vasiljevic brought in Victor Majid and Rwandese Wai Yeka for Victor Majid and Aziz Okaka in a bid to strengthen his midfield, while his counterpart Nicholas Muyoti was forced to bring in Patrick Otieno for Elvis Ronack.

Nzoia were unlucky as their new man Elvis Ronack was sent to the stands for an unacceptable tackle against AFC defender Isaac Oduro on the 72nd minute, reducing the millers to 10 men.

Leopards were punished in the extra time when Ranny Bakari tapped a free kick past Ingwee's custodian Eric Ndayishine on the 92nd minute, forcing the two teams to share the spoils.

The results leave Leopards on the 10th position with seven points behind league leaders Mathare United.
