Days after ranking him the most corrupt Kenyan, Deputy President William Ruto now wants IPSOS Synovate firm to conduct a fresh opinion poll on presidential election.
Further, the DP wants the research firm to move across the country and collect genuine data 'instead of cooking' it in their offices.
"We all know these people are being used to cook data in the name of sciences. Those hiding in them should come out and face me.
"I know challenge the firm to conduct a Presidential election opinion poll and tell us who is in front. They should also announce to the public when moving to all regions," he said.
In their polls, Ruto emerged first at 33 per cent while Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru came second at 31 per cent.
Earlier, a section of MPs allied to Ruto had tasked the research firm to expose names of its financiers.
So divisive has been the outcome that Ruto, while touring Trans Nzoia on Friday, challenged his competitors to came out and face him.
"Let them use propaganda, fake polls and headlines but eventually, I'll deal with them on the ground."
