Gor Mahia have insisted they will not allow their key players to depart the club. This comes in the wake of news that broke on Tuesday, linking two of the club's top players with an exit.
According to reports, former K'Ogalo coach Dylan Kerr has set his eyes on the team's top players, including Francis Kahata and Philemon Otieno.
Kerr has been appointed the head coach of Black Leopards, after ditching Gor Mahia last week.
Gor's Deputy Secretary General Ronald Ngala has since reiterated that their players can only leave if the right procedure is followed in signing them.
"We are in business and if we get a good offer, we’ll definitely consider it. Our policy is known; we cannot stop any player from leaving if the right procedures are followed, refusing to give a release will not benefit the involved parties, everything should be discussed and in the end, an amicable solution reached," he said while speaking to Goal.
He added: "Kahata is contracted to us until June next year while Otieno is contracted to us up to 2020. So if Black Leopards want them, they should follow the right channels,"
The Kenyan Champions are currently preparing to face Malawi's Big Bullets in the first round of the CAF Confederations Cup tie.
