South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro has sharply differed with Former DCI boss Ndegwa Muhoro who was nominated Ambassador to Malaysia by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Osoro, speaking in Parliament on Thursday when Muhoro appeared for vetting, said Muhoro failed to tame crime when he served as the DCI boss.
"Muhoro you should stop giving us hope yet you failed to tame crime. Poor investigations at the crucial department led to increased crime in the country.
"We expect you to tell us what you will do as an Ambassodor to Malaysai and how sure Kenyans will be with you working out there," said the MP.
The youthful MP said Muhoro should stop acting as a pastor since the ambassadorial job requires people who will commit themselves in representing the country.
"We are not vetting a pastor for the ambassadorial job. Muhoro should ensure if he takes up the job, he commits his time to work and not the way he handled the DCI before he was appointed by the Head of State," noted Osoro.
The vocal MP said Kenyans will have nothing to celebrate about Muhoro since many Kenyans were killed during Muhoro's time as the DCI boss and the killers were never brought to book due to poor investigations.
