Kisii County Governor James Ongwae has confirmed that he has not neglected the people of South Mugirango.
The county boss while speaking on Tuesday in South Mugirango when he presided over the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new block at Nduru District hospital said his government is committed to offering best services to the people in the constituency.
"I want to dismiss the claims that I have neglected the people of South Mugirango. I am happy I was voted overwhelmingly by all people in the region and I wish to assure all constituents that my government is keen to offer the best services to the people," said Ongwae.
Ongwae defended his administration saying development various projects such as upgrade of roads, drilling of boreholes and upgrade of footbridges have been done in all 6 wards in the constituency.
"I love the people of South Mugirango but few individuals are after tarnishing my name. I can confirm that my government is keen to get more investors to invest in the soapstone rich region for our people to get jobs thus improving their lives," he added.
He called on leaders to respect one another.
