Two people died on Saturday after a lorry rammed into three vehicles along the Narok- Mai Mahiu road.

According to reports, the accident occurred at Duka Moja after the truck lost control leading to the accident.

The incident was confirmed by Thomas Ngeiywa, the Narok police commander. He noted that the deceased included a child and an adult while five other individuals were injured.

Speaking to reporters, Ngeiywa noted that the truck was moving towards Mai Mahiu and lost control while decesending a hill.

The deceased persons died while admitted at the Narok Referral Hopital where they were receiving treatment.

Among the injured, three suffered serious injuries while four had minor injuries.

The accident comes just a day after two people died when their saloon car hit another vehicle in Embu.
