Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has ruled out trying to reclaim the position in the approaching 2022 general polls.
In an interview on Radio Citizen Thursday morning, Kabogo said that he has his eyes on a bigger position, and has no interest in re-seeking the 'lower league' slot.
The ex-county boss revealed that his 4-year tenure at the helm of the county has made him hate the arena, saying that he will be playing in a bigger league.
He was speaking with reference to the presidency, which he has repeatedly claimed to be eyeing when the time finally comes.
"I have grown to hate Kiambu politics. I am no longer playing in the league of the likes of Sofapaka, I have joined Barcelona in the bigger league," said Kabogo.
He attributed his reelection loss in the Kiambu race in the previous 2017 general polls to some dark forces, which he claimed have always attempted to bring him down.
"I have always had problems in primaries and was at some point forced to join the Sisi Kwa Sisi party after being rigged out and proceeded to win, the same happened in 2017," he added.
Kabogo is yet to officially declare his said presidential bid and as well remains silent on the party on whose ticket he will be seeking the position.
