Lately, there is a growing trend of women not getting married.
The society today has a significant percentage of unmarried women who choose to live a 'single mum' life not because they were dumped by their men, but because they've chosen that kind of life.
So why do most women choose not to get married?
1. Most women are financially stable
These recent times is not like traditional times when women used to get married to monied men so that life can be better.
We are in an era where a good percentage of women are financially stable and need no financial support from anybody, so why would they look for men?
Women are never reliant on men for financial support today.
2. Fear of marriage problems
Marriage has its own problems, and this could contribute to the fact that most women today live outside marriage.
Such women find singlehood peaceful and with nothing much to fret about.
3. They focus more on their careers
Women today value their careers more than marriage; having a husband is never an important factor in society today than having a successful career.
Women tend to focus so much on their careers until they forget about marriage or until they find no value in marriage.
However, women should embrace marriage just like in traditional times as marriages are what make up a productive society.
