Sudi who has been among several leaders asking farmers to not only depend on maize production on Sunday revealed that he was venturing into vegetable farming.

In a post on his official Facebook page, the vocal MP shared several photos of what he said was his vegetable farm.

The MP said farmers in the North Rift, the country’s food basket, should “follow suit and try plant different crops”.

“As we advise our farmers to practice mixed farming, we lead by example, we will not survive by maize alone and that’s why am putting vegetable farming to a test and am sure this will be successful,” reads part of the post that accompanied several photos.
