Kenya Police Service has warned anyone planning to destruct in any way the ongoing four-day teachers training across the country.
The training program began on Tuesday which is based on the competency-based curriculum in a 2-6-6-3 education system.
In a statement shared on Tuesday, the Kenya Police Service revealed that some individuals have already threatened to cause chaos on training.
To promote peacefully process, KPS noted they have issued instructions to their County and Sub County commanders under supervision of Regional commanders to ensure the smooth running.
"As a law enforcement agency, we wish to caution individuals or groups of persons who intend to interfere with the exercise, that the police shall not hesitate to take stern measures against them," read part of the statement.
Furthermore, the KPS insisted they won't allow anyone to unlawfully disturb the government activities noting that those found will be facing the law.
They, therefore, advised anyone having issues to raise through the right procedures.
"We appeal to those opposed to the exercise for whatever reason to follow laid down procedures in airing their grievances instead of taking the law in their hands," added the statement.
The statement also revealed KPS will maintain the role of proving law and order without favour.
The police have called upon members of the public to back them up in creating a peaceful environment
