The group which brings on board a number of Jubilee Party members opposed to Deputy President William Ruto has since declared war on Ruto and his 2022 presidential bid.

Speaking on Tuesday night, the MP said that he crafted the party in defiance to Kuria's initial remarks that he has all the Kikuyu votes with him and will put it where he pleases.

He said that the plan was to, just like the name means; (it shall be understood), prove people with such thought wrong, and to prepare Kenyans for possible changes in 2022.

"Moses is the person who actually made me start Kieleweke. Sometime early last year he used to go to Rift Valley and tell people from Rift Valley that he has all the vote of the Kikuyu in his pockets and is going to bank them in the ballot," he said.

The first term lawmaker was speaking on Citizen TV's News Night, also attended by Kuria and Kandara MP Alice Wahome.

However, Kuria dismissed the claims, saying that the MP is lying and is not accurate in his claims.

"That is not very accurate. Am asking you to start being truthful at your age. He (Ngunjiri) is asking for too much," he said.

The group was formed after President Uhuru Kenyatta's 2018 truce with Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga, and has also declared full support for the handshake.

It had also been involved in unending fights with the rival Tangatanga group which is pro-Ruto, and has with time managed to attract opposition lawmakers, most from ODM.
