Amos Onderi, Bokimonge ward MCA said Governor Obado should stick to the party rules and regulations after the senatorial candidate he was supporting in the just concluded Migori senate by-election lost.

"Obado was drumming support for the FPK candidate Eddy Oketch instead of supporting the candidate the ODM party settled for. Now that ODM won the seat I am warning Obado against opposing the party decision next time," said the MCA in Kisii town on Tuesday.

He asked Governor Obado to carry his own cross the murder case he is facing in court.

"The governor can't expect Raila to intervene in his woes because he committed the crime alone. Let him fight for his own in court and stop blaming the former Prime minister for his woes," he stated.

Mr. Onderi said the ODM party is still famous in the Nyanza region and it is likely to produce the next President in 2022.

He argued that those opposed to Raila Odinga's referendum calls are those who want Kenyans to continue being burdened with huge taxes.
