Joel Vicent Joseph popularly known as Mr Puaz has finally broken silence on the looming Harmonize's Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) record label exit.
During a phone interview with Hivisasa, Mr Puaz revealed that Harmonize's exit in the record label is welcomed because he ought to have taken a second thought before coming up with his decision.
"Well, if he has decided then it is a wise thought for him to work on his own as he tries to build his own empire (Well, nafikiri kama ndo ameamua basi ni maamuzi ya busara kujitegemea na kutengeneza empire yake)," said Mr Puaz.
Puaz, who ditched WCB due to differences with Harmonize in 2018, further spoke on speculations going rounds that Diamond Platnumz is using his record label to 'siphon artist's sweats'.
"I can't say anything because I don't know the contents of their contracts, but if an artist agreed to sign a contract that means it is not 'siphoning' (Hii siwezisema coz sijui mikataba yao iko vipi kwa wengine na Kama msanii alisaign mwenyewe means sio unyonyaji)," added Puaz.
Puaz's sentiments come a few days after Sallam SK, a manager working under WCB, confirmed that the 'Kwa Ngwaru' hitmaker has already handed in a letter requesting for his contract to be terminated.
"Harmonize for now is not wholeheartedly at WCB. He is however still at WCB in terms of the contract. Why do I say that? Harmonize has already sent a letter requesting to terminate his contract and he is willing to face the legal consequences.
(Harmonize kwa sasa hivi ndani yamoyo wake hayuko WCB. Harmonize kimakaratasi bado yuko WCB. Kwa nini nasema hivyo? Harmonize ashatuma barua ya maombi ya kuterminate mkataba wake, na yupo willing kupitia vipengele vyote vya sheria)," Salla SK stated during Wasafi FM's Block 89 show last week.
Harmonize who enjoys a huge fan base in Kenya is speculated to form a team of his own dubbed 'Konde Gang'.
