Erick Omondi's breakup with his Italian fiancee Chantal Juliet Grazioli shocked not only Kenyans but whole East Africa.
Several of Omondi's fans and fellow comedians including Anne Kansiime reacted to the breakup differently.
The comedian used social media platforms where he revealed that he had parted ways with Chantal. Some people who thought it was just but one of his comedies could not believe it.
"I WILL MISS YOU. I met you when you were only 19...I have known you for 4 and half years...Shared and created some of the best moments in life with you. You changed my life COMPLETELY...As you move into your new phase in life with or without me I want to wish you all the best My Love❤️..," reads Omondi's Instagram post in part.
Less than a month after the breakup, he seems to be strongly determined to move on with his life.
The comedian has hinted that he is looking for a new girlfriend.
"Jokes aside, on a serious note HIDE your Girlfriends 🔥😎😎," reads a section of his recent post on Instagram.
This might be perceived to be a joke, but his "Jokes aside" disclaimer cannot just be ignored, considering he used the same platforms to announce his breakup, which turned to be true.
