Addressing media in Nakuru, a group of youths said the CeC is incompetent and should be relieved of her duties.

The youths led by Daniel Kimani, Saida Musa, and Maimuna Mwinyi also accused Gababa of misconduct, incompetence and use of abusive language.

“We cannot organize youth week without funding even after the CeC declined the Sh8.7 million that had been budgeted for the same. We are now calling on Governor Lee Kinynajui to intervene on the same,” said Kimani.

The group claimed Gababa has been handling ministry affairs singlehandedly without consulting the various stakeholders.

Gababa is also being accused of meddling in the management of the Nakuru players’ theater where she has reportedly been scheming to replace the committee.

“Amina Gababa is incompetent and she does not understand the agenda of the youths and we are tired of her in that office,” their statement said.
