This comes a day after North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko accused Bosire of concentrating 'too much' on Ruto instead of building his career.

But an agitated Bosire dismissed Mr Nyamoko as a 'busybody' who does not understand the constitutional framework of the country, adding that he may have been rigged in.

"He has attacked me not once purely on personal vendetta. I was not to respond to him but I must remind him that he's a busybody who was probably rigged in.

"He has no audacity to speak on behalf of Ruto. Again, he must remember that Ruto is the Deputy President of the country and he's subject to criticism."

Mr Nyamoko, who chairs Gusii parliamentary group, is Ruto's key ally to the larger Gusii region and is credited for organising over 20 trips last year by Ruto.

Nyamoko had said: "I hear Bosire wants to be governor. Let him stop poking nose at the DP. He should work to revive his career."
