An elected Member of Parliament allied to Deputy President William Ruto's 'Tanga Tanga' team has told off his critics and rivals.
Speaking on Wednesday at Omobiri Secondary School where he launched a new classroom block, South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro argued that his rivals will have an uphill task unseating him in 2022.
The MP defended his development record and dismissed his rivals, terming them as lazy.
"As you can see today I'm being rained on commissioning a classroom block built by NG-CDF here at Omobiri Secondary School. Where are those lazy rivals? Defeating me in 2022 will be an impossible dream," he said.
Mr Osoro maintained that his track record speaks for itself, adding that he doesn't need to tell locals what he has done.
The MP who is serving his first term in office said his rivals should join residents in the area in supporting him to deliver on his mandate.
"Opponents have only one option and that is joining locals to give me support. I will not boycott my roles because I represent the people of South Mugirango including those who supported my rivals during the election period in 2017," he noted.
