The event took place at the supreme court of Kenya.

Photos of the younger Ruto on his official attire then spread out on social media as Kenyans conveyed their congratulatory messages to the new advocate describing him as a hardworking young man despite the position of his father in the government.

As a proud father, DP Ruto could not hide his joy as he happily posed for photos with his son and the entire family.

Ruto took to his verified Facebook page to congratulate Nick and advised him to stand true to his calling and as a defender of justice and an avid campaigner for equality and human rights.

“Hearty congratulations Nick Ruto for being admitted to the Bar. As you begin a career in the legal profession, may you stand true to your calling as a defender of justice, human rights and an avid campaigner for equality and truth,” Ruto posted.

This means that Nick is qualified to argue in court and can represent his client after successfully going through the most competitive law school training.
