Outspoken Kapseret legislator Oscar Kipchumba Sudi has of late been missing in 'real action' and has instead been speaking out his mind on Facebook.
Sudi is a close confidant and a strong believer of his political mentor Deputy President Dr William Ruto’s 2022 presidential ambitions.
At about three years to the next general elections, DP Ruto’s presidential bid is already on a steep as the second in command is being dragged and linked to major corruption scandals in the country. This is a challenge which Oscar Sudi has always termed as efforts to bar the ‘hustler’ from rising to the presidency.
Although Ruto himself has always avoided any debate linking him to any negative doing in the government, Oscar Sudi has been the most vocal and respondent to any allegations targeting him.
In the recent days, from the National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) to the current Arror and Kimwarer dams scandals which Ruto has been linked to, Sudi has been using his official Facebook page to respond and warn those accusing DP Ruto of taking part in the looting of public funds.
The vocal MP has been engaging in nasty political debates on Facebook to the extent of addressing President Uhuru Kenyatta on the same Social media platform.
In several posts on Facebook, Sudi has even challenged the head of state to prove to Kenyans that he has not stolen any public property by tabling his net worth.
On Friday, the two-time MP was in a much-heated Facebook debate with DP Ruto’s critic, Nyeri Town MP Wambugu Ngunjiri.
Instead of addressing such serious issues on Facebook, Sudi has the ability to visit the president, any other political leader or organize for a press conference and discuss the issues.
