Residents of Nyangena village were left in a rude shock after a man chewed his daughter and blamed alcohol.
Elias Magaki, a chang'aa addict sneaked into his daughter, Emily Kwamboka's bedroom where he forced her into sex before he was caught by his wife, Eunice Moraa.
Moraa said she heard her husband making noise outside their compound under the influence of alcohol but, waited him to enter the house in vain.
"My husband a drunkard and I usually leave the door open to enter when he comes. I heard him outside instead of coming straight into the house, he made his way into our daughter's bedroom where he forced her into sex," said Moraa.
Moraa said she heard their daughter screaming for help and when she rushed there, she found Magaki doing bad manners with the daughter.
She said the beat him and kicked him out of the bedroom before she called neighbors.
Area assistant chief, Jared Onchari said neighbors questioned the man who confessed that he was driven by alcohol to have sex with his daughter who divorced with her husband over domestic differences.
"It is shameful indeed for Magaki to have sex with his daughter. He blamed alcohol that the chang'aa he consumed led him to force his daughter into sex," said Onchari.
The administrator said elders will hold a meeting on Tuesday to find a punishment they will give Magaki.
He warned Magaki against boycotting the elders meeting where he will get to know his punishment.
