Popular Luo Benga musician is dead.

Ajoji Dume the 'Nyaboss Mora' hitmaker was pronounced dead at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital at around 5 am on Saturday morning after a long battle with illness.

He has left behind a wife, Atis Pesa who is a fellow benga musician.

The death was confirmed by fellow musician Linet Aluoch Pamba, reports Hot 96 news.

The death had also been reported by the Citizen Digital on its tweeter feed and Radio Ramogi which broadcasts in Luo.

More details are yet to be revealed as the music community is saddened by the death of the Luo legendary musician
