Deputy President William Ruto's tour to Kisii County has been pushed to Friday.
Ruto was expected to tour Nyaribari Masaba in Kisii County on Thursday October 18, 2018, for a fund raiser along Kisii-Nyamira boarder.
Confirming the changes, Nyaribari Masaba MP Ezekiel Machogu said Ruto will not make it to tour the constituency on Thursday as early committed.
"Ruto will have some commitments on Thursday and therefore, he can't make it for the visit. He will be visiting the constituency on Friday October 19, 2018," he said.
The lawmaker said DP Ruto will launch the tarmacking of Sosera-Getengereri-Ekona-Ramasha road before proceeding to Amabuko secondary school.
Machogu dismissed claims that the tour has failed.
"Those spreading falsehood about DP Ruto's tour should find something constructive to do instead of wasting time misleading locals. I am assured locals that the plans are ongoing well to receive DP Ruto on Friday," he said.
He warned locals against falling into the tricks of political losers who are out to remain politically relevant by spreading propaganda.
According to the MP, this is not time for politics but, service delivery to the people.
