For the first time in her political career, county MP Jerusha Momanyi was thrown into defense over what social media users termed as 'poor dressing'.

On Wednesday morning, Mrs. Momanyi, who was elected on Jubilee ticket, shared photos of her in his son's wedding that took place on Monday at Nyanchwa SDA.

But what was intended to be a light sharing of information turned out to a vicious debate as locals questioned her mode of dressing.

"Mama County, who dresses you? You mean that's how you dressed in the wedding? Someone is not doing his or her duty well," wrote Freddie Makone in Kitutu Masaba WhatsApp Group.

Another user, Carol Kwamboka added: "With all the money, we expected you to dress decently. I think you need to visit a market."

Some even questioned her head weave adding that it was "too old" to be worn by the first time MP.

"Even that weave seems to be of 90s. You need to check on that. We want you to be smart all the time," Veronica Mwango said on Facebook.

Galgalo added: " you received Sh10,000 in sugar bribe and that alone could have changed your wardrobe."

Despite all the attacks, the Women Rep did not reply to messages but could only delete photos later.

On Monday, her eldest son Dominic Momanyi wedded in Nyanchwa SDA, a function that was attended by a host of MPs.
