West Pokot Governor Professor John Lonyangapuo claimed that he slept on renowned physicist and intellectual Albert Einstein's bed.
The county boss, renowned for his effortless humour and witty soundbites, made the claims on the Jeff Koinange Live show on Citizen Television Wednesday night.
He said he went to Oxford University, one of the world's coveted elite universities after doing his PhD in England.
At Oxford, according to his account, he spent six months where he did a higher degree in Computational Fluid Dynamics.
"By the way I slept on his bed in Oxford. That bed is still there. I went there to do a higher degree when I finished my PhD for six months. I went there to do Computational Fluid Dynamics, " the West Pokot governor said.
Albert Einstein is arguably the world's most revered intellectuals.
He was a German-born physicist whose ground-breaking work in theoretical physics saw him win the Nobel Peace Prize.
Prof Albert Einstein is well known for his theory of relativity.
"Einstein’s researches are, of course, well chronicled and his more important works include Special Theory of Relativity (1905), Relativity (English translations, 1920 and 1950),General Theory of Relativity (1916),Investigations on Theory of Brownian Movement (1926), and The Evolution of Physics (1938). Among his non-scientific works, About Zionism (1930), Why War? (1933), My Philosophy (1934), and Out of My Later Years (1950) are perhaps the most important, " the Nobel Peace Prize Organisation writes on it's website.
