A 50-year-old man caned his son thoroughly after he allegedly slept with a neighbor's daughter at Ekerenyo.
James Barongo said his son, who is in form three didn’t go to school on claims that he was sick.
"My son has started becoming lazy. He never wants to go to school. He woke up and pretended he was sick so that he can stay at home.
"After 30 minutes, I heard a girl talking on phone in his bedroom and when I want to see who was she, I was shocked to see my neighbor’s daughter naked in bed,” he said.
Barongo said his son was in the toilet when he went to see who he went to check on then at the bedroom.
“I waited for him to come out of the toilet and when I questioned him he told me he had slept with the neighbor’s daughter who dropped school last year.
"I had to cane him in presence of the girl and warned them against seeing each other,” he said.
Area Nyumba Kumi official Stephen Nyamora said the boy was forcibly taken to school because he was not sick.
Nyamora warned parents against falling into the tricks of their children who are at adolescent stage.
