The boys who had just completed their final Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations were last week captured hurling unprintable insults at Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed and her Interior counterpart Fred Matiang'i.

They could also be seen burning their books while bragging of having cheated in the exams, leading to their arrest, and arraignment before Siaya Senior Resident Magistrate Gladys Adhiambo on Monday.

However, Ayacko has defended the group, detecting impartiality in dealing with cases of immorality in the nation.

‘’The tragedy of our nation is that a bunch of kids will spend 7 days in remand for being stupid (which is what they should be at their age) while high-profile individuals who are facing grave criminal indictments roam freely and address investors!’’ he said in a tweet.

The boys aged between 16 and 17 were nabbed between November 23 and 25, and are set to remain in remand until December 3 when they will again be fronted in court.

The group is being held at the juvenile holding cells at the Ugunja Police Station in Siaya.
