Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria's alleged love for the bottle has once again become a subject of discussion on social media after he appeared on Citizen TV's JKL show on Wednesday.
In fact, a section of Kenyans on Twitter claimed that Kuria was 'high' when he appeared for the interview, which perhaps prompted his host Jeff Koinange to address the matter.
This is as Koinange reminded the MP about his rude response on the same question during an interview with Inooro TV last month where he said he "drinks with nobody's mother", something he said he was unapologetic about.
"I am tired of being asked this question again and again and that is why I had to answer those who accuse me of drunkenness as such. Why should my drinking lifestyle be such a concern to some people that even when I coming from the church they say I am drunk?" asked Kuria.
He added: "I will tell them once again that it is not their money or their alcohol that I take and should, therefore, let me be. Twitter users, fish fingers and Uber users are the main problems we have in this country."
The MP who is known to shoot from the hip seems to have been angered by this topic that when one viewer texted the TV station saying that "I like the MP and I would want a piece of what he smokes", Kuria called him an "idiot".
