We have some people who resort to bad behaviour and annoying other passengers. Here are some of the bad behaviours associated with Nairobians in matatus.

Crossing legs while seating. Nairobi matatus are known to be small. However, some passengers want to feel more comfortable and they end up crossing their legs while seating. This position takes a lot of space, inconveniencing other passengers.

Talking loudly. This lot of passengers will want to rope in everybody in their conversation. It especially occurs during phone conversations.  Some people just want to relax and go home and such loud conversations are inconveniencing.

Coughing/sneezing uncontrollably. This lot of passengers do not care about the person sitting next to them when coughing. They lack of courtesy of using a handkerchief to sneeze. They end up exposing other passengers to respiratory diseases.

Taking selfies. Selfies are cool, but taking them in a matatu can be disturbing. Some passengers take selfies without the consent of other passengers. Some people find this behaviour as creepy.
