An ODM politician from Gusii region has lashed out at DP William Ruto over his 'unnecessary' political visits to Gusii region.

Samuel Omwando claimed that DP Ruto is desperate seeking the Gusii community's support in his 2022 presidential bid. 

The vocal politician regretted that despite the numerous visits, DP Ruto will not get support in 2022. 

"I want to tell the 'rogue hustler' that the Gusii community will not risk supporting him in 2022. He is wasting time coming to Gusii region dishing out 'stolen' money at fund drives and launching old projects," he said. 

Mr Omwando argued that leaders who have been inviting DP Ruto to Gusii region are only doing it to remain relevant in the community's politics.

"Those 'lazy' leaders accompanying DP Ruto to fund drives and launching of ghost projects are fearing losing their seats in 2022 only interested to get some money from DP Ruto. None of them is going to win. They should go home with DP Ruto in 2022," he added. 

He reiterated that DP Ruto is 'dangerous' in this country and should be ignored by all means in 2022.
