Nairobi County Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has now come out to react to the intimacy photo with Nairobi County Women Rep Esther Passaris.
Taking to his Instagram account, the flamboyant city boss distanced himself from the photo. He further claimed that this was a scheme by hired people to tarnish his name.
“I can see some idleness by some hired people here. This is photoshop. I do not hug from behind,” said Sonko.
This comes just hours after Passaris posted the image on her twitter account and asked Kenyans On Twitter (KOT) to help her retrieve the original photos for a fee of Sh10, 000.
“Calling on #KOT Bureau of Investigations: Sh10, 000 Cash Award to anyone who can identify the three original photos used in this lame photoshop mashup. From #RecordingArtist to #DigitalArtist. What next?” posted Esther Passaris.
The two got themselves into the wrath of KOT after Sonko leaked their phone conversation with Esther Passaris asking Sonko for money.
Sonko came out asking Passaris to explain why she was calling him to go to her hotel room and that’s when people started making fun of them.
