Have you ever suffered the pain of breaking up with someone you love? If not, just keep your fingers crossed and wish that it never happens to you. But wait, is that even possible?
Don't they say that you kiss many frogs before meeting the right one? Anyway, I don't intend to scare you only that I am simply calling a spade by its name-a spade.
That aside, breakups are part of our lives but most important are the lessons we learn from them so that we do not repeat the same mistakes.
Let me share with you some of the most important lessons I have learned so far from my exes:
1. Always be assertive
By this, I mean that you should always be bold to express your views and opinions without fear or feeling intimidated. Sometimes, men will take the advantage of your silence and literally ignore your presence and opinion.
If you think that something is wrong with the relationship, speak it out and do not allow yourself to wallow in a relationship that has no head or tail.
2. Never rush
The first few weeks of dating are full of fantasies and fallacies. You are so much into each other and you find yourselves sharing some of your deepest secrets, introducing each other to friends and family, and expressing your love in public.
Take your time to know and trust the person you are dating first as rushing can lead to real problems.
3. You still need your friends
When we are in problems, we always rush to our friends for help and advice. When you are fighting with your lover and you finally break up, you shall still need your friends.
So, even when you are deeply and crazily in love, make some time for your friends and let not your new partner come in between you and your friends.
