A man shocked villagers after he made his house help a second wife after impregnated her.
The incident happened on Sunday at Nyamataro area in Nyakoe, Kisii County.
"Nyanchama has been working as a house help in my house for the last 6 years. I fell in love with her and she is now carrying my child. I can't dump her so I have decided to make her my second wife," he said.
Mr Siro said his wife, Dinah Monyangi didn't object his decision to marry Nyanchama as her co-wife.
"I am happy that my first wife who I married 9 years ago agreed to my proposal for a second wife. Men who impregnates house helps should take responsibility," he added.
Area chief, Adrian Onsombi confirmed the incident and said no one could interfere with the man's decision.
