An identified woman on Tuesday caused drama outside President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Harambee House office after she was barred from accessing the building.
The woman is said to have been protesting against the Finance Bill 2018 which was recently signed into law by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The bill will see the VAT on petroleum products reduce from 16 to eight per cent.
She argued that the move has lead to a rise in the cost of living, making life difficult for her and her kids.
The woman demanded to see President Uhuru Kenyatta who is currently at the US and National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale.
However, her plan to storm President Uhuru’s office was thwarted by police officers manning the gate. It was then that she decided to strip naked.
A photo of the naked woman who can be seen standing between the police officers outside Harambee House was shared on different social media platforms, eliciting mixed reactions among Kenyans.
