Nausea, morning sickness, vomiting and mood swings are all issues pregnant women go through.
These make most of them forget about bonding with their unborn babies.
You don't need to wait for your baby to arrive into this world to bond. Here are three main ways you can bond with your baby;
1. Talk to your baby
At 20 weeks, babies start to recognise the mother's voice. You can start narrating stories to them, read books, tell them how your day was so they can get used to your voice.
After he/ she is born, the baby will always turn to you whenever you speak.
Remember to keep your voice low and smooth to avoid frustrating the baby.
2. Touch him
Many women bond with their unborn babies by touching their baby bumps.
This should be a routine as it marks checking on them.
This makes them feel protected. Besides, studies show that babies can differentiate between their mother's touch and a stranger's touch.
3. Sing or play music for them
Unborn babies just like everyone enjoys soft smooth music. Playing some cool music or singing soft songs to your baby should also be a routine.
Your baby will recognise these songs when played later after they are born.
Studies have also proved that these songs lay a good foundation for the baby's language skills.
