Estranged Citizen TV anchor Jacque Maribe surrendered on Thursday evening to detectives at DCI offices in Kilimani.
Photos of the embattled anchor circulated on social media forums and was accompanied by unidentified man.
Detectives claimed that she had refused to pick their calls after being sought to record a fresh statement over the murder of Ms. Monica Kimani, an entrepreneur who died last week
Maribe's fiance Joseph Irungu was denied bail by the police after being directly linked to the controversial murder.
Two witnesses both neighbors of the deceased identified him at a parade in Kilimani Police as the man last seen at the deceased house.
It was also established that the two have been having a cordial relationship since their days at Kenya Polytechnic and even visited each other.
Also, phone call data located Mr. Irungu at the deceased house on the fateful day and he's said to have left at 2am in a car registered under Maribe's name.
Ms. Maribe's lawyer Cliff Ombeta said her client had instructed him to take over the matter.
At Kilimani, the celebrated anchor put on a white hood and seemed to cover herself.
