Former Bishop at Pastor James Ng'ang'a's Neno Evangelism Church, Bishop Robert Wafula has opened another new church in Mombasa.
Bishop Wafula has made a daring move by opening a new church in less than one month after he ditched Ng'ang'a's Coast Region Church over 'Takataka, matuta' rebuke from its founder, Ng'ang'a.
Bishop Wafula's immediate move has been received warmly by many Kenyans, especially those at the coast, who are promising to join his new church.
Bishop Wafula becomes the first bishop to hang his boots after Ng'ang'a demanded that they respect his wife and his orders.
While describing his bishops as 'Takataka' who joined his church in poor state and their wives in 'matuta' hairstyle, Ng'ang'a warned them that he would close some of the church's branches if they could not respect him and his wife, Murugi Maina.
The tirade by Ng'ang'a went viral with most Kenyans saying he went too far in handling his reservations with the bishops.
Bishop Wafula is now the founder of the Shalom Miracle Church, Mombasa. We can say the church has been received with both hands by looking at the congregation it is receiving.
