"I asked her to look after my car since I could not take long to withdraw the money a from the ATM. I returned and found my phone was missing and the bread I'd bought ," he said.
Matagaro said upon questioning the security guard, she denied saying she didn't open the car.
"I could not believe her because she is the same person I told to look after my car.
"I was shocked to find my phone and the loaf of bread inside her handbag. I descended on her with kicks and blows before other customers intervened," he said.
Charles Oyaro, a witness said the security guard was injured on her head and she was taken to a local private clinic for treatment.
A police officer guarding at the bank, Ndwiga Murrithi said customers visiting the bank should ensure the windscreens of their cars are closed.
