Embattled Gor Mahia Chairman Ambrose Rachier has allayed fears that the club is in crisis.
Rachier categorically noted that his critics are at it again and are acting in bad faith following the players' go slow, delayed salary and allowances, a thing that has seen the already seen the SPL champions lose two matches in a row.
With the stalled players' salaries and six league matches win allowances yet to be paid, and controversy surrounding the transfer of the Ugandan left back Godfrey Walusimbi to South Africa's Kaizer Chiefs coming into play; Rachier was quick to dismiss his critics and took a swipe at the club's organizing secretary Judith Anyango who claimed that Rachier pocketed sh3 million from Walusimbi transfer.
He stated that the delay of salary was, 'blown out of the proportion by the misguided, troublemakers who are self-seeking and out to pounce on any chance or challenge faced by the management.'
And he assured that the players' August dues and allowances will be paid in full and that he had not received any single penny from the Walumbi transfer.
"No single rand or penny has been paid to the club or to officials or alleged agent at all. and I challenge those peddling lies to confirm with the Kaizer Chiefs and establish the truth before trying to attract cheap public attention," stated the long-serving chairman.
In addition, Rachier promised to call an AGM at the end of this year and give the registered members an avenue to decide on the next course of action regarding the club matters and election.
