An infuriated Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i has reportedly deployed detectives from DCI office to investigate four students who allegedly insulted him, claims renowned blogger Cyprian Nyakundi.
The four, who just finished their Kenya Certificate for Secondary School from Ambira High School in Siaya, are seen chest thumping how they managed to cheat in exams despite tight security.
“Shule huisha, masomo huisha…tumeiba (School comes to end, learning also comes to and end…we cheated)," they are heard saying.

“Screw Matiangi, Amina pigwa vidole, malaya wewe, Matiangi screw Amina, tumeiba Umbwa wewe (Screw Matiang’i, Amina go get shagged, Matiang’i screw Amina, we have stolen exams, dogs!)" https://cnyakundi.com/detectives-to-probe-ambira-high-school-students-captured-insulting-matiangi-and-amina-mohammed/.
And at his Nyamira backyard, a section of residents have backed Matiang'i's actions, adding that they will restore sanity and integrity in the exam.
"I have seen the video. It's an insult to our systems and intellectualism. Let them face full wrath of the law," said Mwalimu Nyerere.
Another activist Steward Oyugi added: "Let them tell us what they know about cheating. Intellectual dishonesty is highly discouraged. They must be arrested to give more details."
Despite high voltage security, a few cases of malpractices were detected in 2018 exams with several invigilators, teachers and students arraigned in Kisii courts at the heart of Matiang'i's backyard.
A rogue trader identified as Vincent Nyasani, is currently locked at Keroka police station over alleged examination malpractices in Nyamira.
