She claimed that the county boss attacked Former Nairobi Women Rep Racheal Shebesh but they never got an opportunity to defend her and now he has done it again.

She reminded male MPs not to point accusing fingers at women in parliament when they have dark pasts as well.

The lawmaker, who has been very vocal on matters of national interest, also said that women in the house do not need any approval to live their lives.

“That other time when you saw honorable Sonko attacked Racheal Shebesh and we were not able to  speak on the floor and now he is on Esther Passaris and you want us to keep quiet.

"Nobody is talking about some of these men have 10-20 women but when you hear a woman like Esther Passaris has said I love you. How are you interpreting the term love? There is agape love and true love," she said amid cheers from other women in parliament.

Sonko and Passaris have not been in good terms in the recent past. The women Rep was forced to leave the Madaraka Day Celebrations after Sonko dressed her down.
