Aldai Member of Parliament Cornel Serem has laughed off Wiper Democratic Movement's (WDM) pledge to collaborate with the Jubilee government.
The Kalonzo Musyoka-led outfit on Saturday announced that it will henceforth support President Uhuru Kenyatta as he seeks to realize his Big Four agenda dream.
However, in an interview on Radio Citizen on Sunday, Serem termed Kalonzo as an unreliable and dynamic person, noting that he will be speaking in another language in the next one month.
‘’Kalonzo hana msimamo. In the next one month atakuwa ashapata sababu tena ya kurudi nyuma na kubadilisha msimamo wake wa sasa (in the next one month he will have shifted to something else),’’ he said.
Serem further faulted the recent exodus from the opposition to the government which was kicked off by opposition leader Raila Odinga, terming it unhealthy for the nation.
He urged the big opposition figures to surrender the privileges allocated to them and officially declare their entrance into the ruling side.
‘’Huenda tukakosa upinzani wakiendelea kuondoka na sasa itabidi wanaojiunga na serikali warudishe benefits zinaokuja na vyeo vyao (this will kill the opposition. The hoppers should consider surrendering the privileges coming with their offices),’’ he added.
Wiper has, however, maintained that it remains part and parcel of the opposition’s National Super Alliance (NASA).
