On Tuesday morning, February 12, Kenyans woke up to another trend of #FindBillianOjiwa just a day after #FindCarolineMwatha took Twitter by storm.
Billian Ojiwa is a the National Youth Congress Chairman for Kanu and a community mobilizer who founded the Ficha Uchi Initiative.
According to his wife Nerima Wako Ojiwa who is a renowed political analyst, Ojiwa has been missing since Sunday noon when he left her at her parent's house.
She says that her husband left s usual like he was only going to the shop but, that is the last she has seen of him since Sunday.
"He didn't have his phone, his car keys or his office keys. I thought he had gone to the shop. I haven't seen him since then," recounted Nerima.
Nerima reported the matter at Kilimani Police Station on Monday, after her efforts to communicate with her husband turned futile 24 hours later.
She was told to go back to the station on Tuesday morning.
Ojiwa's mysterious disappearance comes in the steps of yet another case where a Dandora-based human rights activists Caroline Mwatha went missing last week on Wednesday.
Mwatha was a senior official at Dandora Community Social Justice Center and was mostly involved in dealing with extrajudicial killings in the area.
Police are still investigating possible leads to her whereabouts.
Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko even offered Sh300,000 reward to anyone who has information of her whereabouts.
The disappearance of such youthful Kenyans has caused a lot of worries and citizens are encouraged to provide any information they might have concerning the missing persons.
