FIFA diversity boss Federico Addiechi said its television partners should stop zooming in on ‘hot women’ in the crowd adding that too much time was spent on picking out attractive women rather than the action on the pitch.

“This is one of the activities that we definitely will have in the future, it’s a normal evolution. We have done it on a case-by-case basis when some cases arose and they were pretty evident,” said Mr Addiechi as quoted by foxnews.com.

Garissa residents were not left behind to comment on the plan to stop showing ‘hot women’ during matches. This is what they had to say:

“They should show these female fans. Just because someone is looking good they should not be shown on TV?” questioned Dakane Abey.

“The dressing might be an issue because most of these female fans are wearing short shorts and crop tops. But they are there to support their teams,” said Amina Osman.

“The female fans attending these matches should not be treated differently from the male fans. The broadcasters are only showing the fans who attend these matches,” said Hamida Hussein.

“We should not dictate how these female fans should dress. They will be discouraged to even attend these matches,” said Muktar Rashid.
