Political analyst Edward Kisiangani has proposed stern punitive measures against embattled Samburu Governor Moses Lenorkulal.
The county boss was on Wednesday implicated in a mega graft scandal that saw anti-graft detectives raid his homes in Karen, Nairobi.
Another group was dispatched to his other home in Maralal in Samburu in search of evidence armed with search warrants.
The governor is being probed in a Sh2 billion fraud probe emanating from misappropriation of county coffers.
Kisiang'ani now says that the best move would be to the dissolution of the county government.
He advised that the county chief should exit the position to give room for the installation of another person who will lead with integrity.
Kisiangani said that the same should not be unique to the county but be used to treat similar cases in other counties.
"Revelation of massive looting of Samburu County by the top leadership of the County leaves the country with only one option: The county government should be dissolved n a new one installed through another election. Similar action should be taken on other corrupt counties," he wrote.
More detectives were dispatched to the homes of contractors suspected to be working with the county boss to defraud the county.
