The Governor had just completed enjoying a meal in a Kibanda operated by the two and he chose to surprise them.

Joho enjoyed their meal and asked them what they would love him to do for them. Interestingly, one of the two women said that she was shy to respond in front of the people who had accompanied Joho. She asked for an opportunity to respond privately and the Governor agreed.

After moving some distance from the other people, one woman said she wanted Sh50,000 to expand to her business. Joho agreed to give her the money.

On her part, the second woman said that she was requesting Sh25,000 to start a business of her own. To her delight, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) deputy party leader doubled the money to Sh50,000 to equal her partner’s request.

The Governor had enough cash. He dished out of his pocket Sh100,000 and asked the two if they could share themselves if he helps them. They requested that he divides the money, which he did.
