American R&B star Keri Hilson landed in Kenya on Wednesday August 1.
This is not the first time she is coming to Kenya. She has a charity foundation in Kibera called The Keri Hilson Foundation.
She landed at the JKIA on Tuesday night.
However, she never had to take a rest as she spent a better part of Wednesday in Kibera.
She visited and talked to various talented artists in Kibera under various support groups.
Her spirit and morale to meet Kibera talented artists could not be stopped by the muddy alleys of Kibera due to the previous day’s rains.
Pictures taken while in Kibera clearly show how hard it was for her and her aides to navigate through the muddy Kibera streets.
Her aides are seen holding her hand to support her through the mud.
Funny Kenyans could not have missed making her dance to the tune of the famous Odi Dance. Pictures of her dancing to this tune went viral on social media.
Ker Hilson is in Kenya to perform at an event at KICC alongside other international artistes.
The event dubbed Terminal Music Weekend will see famous musicians such as the “Man’s Not Hot” hitmaker Big Shaq, Big Toobz, Bobby V, WSTRN and Horace Brown perform.
