The Elgeyo-Marakwet Senator has admitted the Jubilee kitchen was getting too hot but vowed not to get out.

He said he will use his high ranked position to confront and help the ruling party overcome the current challenges.

"Problems are there to be confronted and solved not to be evaded. The first way to solve a problem is to acknowledge it," he said.

The Majority Leader went ahead to state; "I am satisfied that in my position of responsibility I am able to point out and resolve the problems we confront as a republic."

Some Jubilee politicians allied to President Uhuru Kenyatta have been calling for Murkomen's sacking on grounds he was being disrespectful by publicly criticizing the handshake between the Head of State and the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

Recently the vocal Senator termed the handshake pact as “the worst political fraud ever witnessed in Kenya" and claimed it was being used to undermine the Deputy President William Ruto.

"Handshake is the worst political fraud ever witnessed in this country. It’s being used as a scheme to fight one individual together with the charade called fight against corruption. It’s a shame!" he tweeted a week ago.

However, responding to Sunday Nation readers on 'Ask Your Questions' segment, Murkomen denied attacking Uhuru saying he was castigating Raila's camp.

"In my honest opinion, ODM are a fraud. To them the handshake is for the personal benefit of their party leader," the Majority Leader stated.
