Controversial Lawyer Miguna Miguna has warned Kenyans about President Uhuru Kenyatta's directive on Saturday during Madaraka Day.
Uhuru directed Kenya Revenue Authority(KRA) to avoid inspecting imported goods at the port of Mombasa unless the case of suspected cargo.
On Monday, Miguna Miguna alleged this will increase chances of smuggling illicit goods to the country.
The lawyer noted he smells a rant about it claiming international smugglers, arms dealers, human and drug traffickers will get their goods into the country illegally.
"Pirates and other organized criminals will load already inspected ships with drugs, arms and other goods in the high seas without detection. I suspect that the Kenyatta Family and other organized mafia intend to flood Kenya with illicit goods such as cocaine, ivory, blood diamonds, and conflicts gold undetected," Miguna Miguna noted on his official Facebook page
Miguna Miguna further doubts such a directive citing this came weeks after emergence of gold scam. The gold business seemed to have had its way to a number of Kenyan leaders.
He, therefore, warned Kenyans not to accept Uhuru's directive.
"Coming soon after the so-called "fake gold" scandal involving Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga , Moses Wetang'ula and Fred Matiang'i, Kenyans must not accept the unilateral and arbitrary directive on ships docking in Mombasa. It is likely going to be a conduit for blood diamonds, conflicts gold, mercury-laced sugar, ivory, etc," he added
